The installation of Pulley Lagging should be ensured to be carried out under conditions where the temperature is higher than 10℃ and the humidity is lower than 90%, which is suitable for drum rubber pulley lagging. Additionally, it is necessary to ensure that the surface of the drum and the bonding surface of the rubber pulley lagging is dry and clean, and the surface of the drum is free of grease, engine oil, or chemical agents to prevent affecting the rubber’s coverage.

Meanwhile, the selection of pulley lagging materials is crucial in installation. Together with the high-quality cold vulcanization adhesive, the pulley lagging needs to have strong wear resistance and an authentic bonding layer(semi-vulcanized layer). Beltcare Solution pulley laggings have a wear resistance coefficient twice that of common pulley laggings, and the authentic semi-vulcanized layer can be used directly with cold vulcanizing cement without the need for grinding. This allows for quick bonding and fusion of the drum and rubber pulley lagging sheet, resulting in improved effectiveness and lifespan of the drum pulleys.

The cold vulcanizing adhesive and hardener used in rubber pulley lagging installation should be tightly sealed and stored in a cool and dry place. Before mixing and solidification, they should avoid contact with the skin. If accidentally contacted, they should be washed with water or alkaline water as soon as possible. The technology used during the pulley lagging operation is also the key to improving the performance of drum rubber pulley lagging installation, in addition to the requirement of high-quality materials.
